2012 DeskStats Promotion

During the 2012 DeskStats Promotion, any SCELC or Amigos member library can enjoy three (3) months use of DeskStats without cost or obligation. You can start your 3-month subscription any time starting in February 2012.

To participate, there are three easy steps:

  1. Decide on a start date anytime in 2012.
  2. Designate a staff member to be responsible for coordination of the project.
  3. Complete the relevant form for your institution.

We will set up your user accounts and locations on one of our DeskStats Co-op sites, and will provide online orientation for as many of your staff as you choose. Note that during the free-use period there is no limit to the number of users or locations.

In addition to staff training on use of the system, your DeskStats coordinator will learn how to produce statistical reports. And, of course, our excellent customer/technical support staff is available to you at all times.

As the cost-free period comes to an end, you will have several options:

  1. Continue using DeskStats on the DeskStats Co-op site, paying the applicable annual subscription rate for each of the concurrent users you need going forward. This option is the most cost-effective for libraries requiring 10 concurrent users or less.
  2. Convert your operation to a stand-alone DeskStats site (no service disruption or loss of data), paying the applicable annual subscription rate for each of the concurrent users you need going forward. This is the preferred option for libraries requiring more than 10 concurrent users.
  3. Walk away without further obligation, with all of the data you captured and with our thanks for your participation.
